Indian Barber

This is called applying marketing concepts at the grassroot level!
STP - segmenting -targeting-positioning in the men's hair cutting market in Singapore !

This barber branded himself as the Indian Barber !
His shop is just alongside a market and serval barber shops operated by Chinese Singaporeans or Malayasian Singaporeans !

By branding his shop as Indian Barber he is targeting the Indian community around this place , which includes Indians, Malaysian Indians , some Chinese and numerous children of these communities !

Is this unique or exemplarily different ? Perhaps not ! But what's different is starting with this idea and having a fan following ! He has uniquely priced himself alongside the other saloons but displays photos of Indian Gods and agrabatti in his shop!

Does not have brand new saloon chairs but functionally useful and Indians like me don't care much on these aspects as long as the haircut is
Good enough and at a cost which drives value for oneself!

I am thinking what would be the factors that might help the saloon improve or lose business moving ahead!
Aesthetics, price point , service , relationship , diff segment , offer, discount, loyalty card , tie-up....

What will be the game changer !
